By browsing renewacad.eu, contacting us or subscribing to the newsletter, you acknowledge that you have been duly informed about the processing of your data by reading this document, referred to as the "Privacy Policy".

An identifiable natural person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to that person's physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

If you have any questions or concerns about the processing of your data, wish to exercise your legal rights in relation to the data we hold, or have concerns about how we handle any privacy-related matter, you can email us at office@renewacad.eu and office@wpe.ro.
What information we collect
Information you provide voluntarily
When you use the request-a-quote forms on the website, contact us by phone or email, or communicate with us in any other way, you voluntarily provide us with information that we process. This information includes your first name, last name, email address and telephone number.
When you subscribe to the newsletter, you voluntarily provide us with your email address.
When you provide us with this information, we store it securely and confidentially in our database. We do not disclose or transfer information to third parties except in the circumstances described in the section "Who we disclose your information to".
Information we collect automatically
When you browse our website, we may collect information about your visit. This may include your IP address, operating system, browser, browsing activity and other information about how you interacted with the website. We collect this information through cookies or similar technologies - see the "Cookies" section for details.
Photograph for identification and issuance of the HSSE card/passport
If you attend a course that results in the issuance of an HSSE card or passport, your photograph may be collected and processed for the purposes of identifying you, managing your participation in the course and issuing/printing the HSSE card or passport. This processing is necessary to provide the training service you requested and is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR - no separate consent is required for this specific use. The photograph is retained under the same retention conditions described in the section "How long we retain your data".
Photographic, video and audio materials
If you register on the website or attend a course organised by us, we may take photographs and make video and audio recordings in which you may appear. This processing takes place only with your explicit consent, given when registering on the website or separately at the event. The materials will be used exclusively to promote the activities carried out by Wind Power Energy SRL through various communication channels, both digitally (websites, social media, online presentations) and in print (posters, flyers, brochures, etc.). The materials may be retained and used for up to 10 years from the date they are created and will be accessible only to employees whose duties include communication and promotional activities. You may withdraw this consent at any time by following the procedure described in the section "How to exercise your rights".
What is the lawful basis for processing?
For data that you provide voluntarily by completing and submitting forms or by contacting us in any way, the lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR - processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or in order to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
For processing activities that do not fall within this category - for example, compliance with a legal obligation (retaining financial and accounting records) or our legitimate interests (protecting against cyberattacks and improving our services) - the lawful basis is, as applicable, Article 6(1)(c) or Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
For data collected automatically through non-essential cookies or similar technologies (for example, Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel), the lawful basis is your explicit consent, given by selecting the relevant options in the cookie banner displayed when you first access the website, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and Law No. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector. Merely browsing the website does not, in itself, constitute consent to non-essential cookies.
For photographic, video and audio materials, the lawful basis is your explicit consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
For the photograph used to identify the participant and issue the HSSE card/passport, the lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR - the processing is necessary for the performance of the training contract to which you are a party.
Purposes for which we collect data
- to take the necessary steps to enter into a contract;
- to respond to your questions and requests;
- to protect ourselves against cyberattacks;
- for marketing activities, but only where you have given your prior consent;
- to provide and improve the services we offer.
If you no longer wish to receive promotional messages, you can follow the unsubscribe instructions included in each email.
How long we retain your data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected:
- data submitted through contact and quotation forms: for the duration of the contractual relationship and thereafter in accordance with the statutory retention periods for financial and accounting records;
- the email address used for the newsletter: until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe;
- data collected through cookies: in accordance with the retention periods applicable to each tool (detailed in the "Cookies" section);
- photographic, video and audio materials: for a maximum of 10 years from the date they are created.
In all cases, we do not retain data for more than 10 years from your last interaction with us, unless the law requires a different retention period.
Who we disclose your information to
We will not disclose your information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. However, we may disclose your information to the following entities:
- Service providers. We may disclose your information to other companies that provide services to us and act as processors on our behalf, such as companies that assist us with billing or send emails on our behalf. We select these entities with particular care to ensure that they meet the applicable personal data protection requirements.
- Training providers for the purpose of obtaining certificates of completion for courses recognised at European level.
- Courts, prosecutors or other public authorities, where necessary to comply with the law or in response to a binding legal process (such as a search warrant or court order).
- Other parties, with your consent or at your direction.
Do we transfer data to third countries?
At present, we transfer data outside the European Union only in connection with the use of Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel on the website, as described below, and only subject to the appropriate legal safeguards. We do not make any other transfers of data to third countries.
Information generated by Google Analytics cookies about how the website is used - standard internet usage log information (including your IP address) and information about visitor behaviour in anonymised form - is transmitted to and stored by Google LLC, including on servers in the United States. The transfer is carried out under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified, or, if that certification is unavailable or suspended, on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, which provide an appropriate level of protection for your data.
Information generated by Facebook Pixel cookies is transmitted to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and, where applicable, to Meta Platforms, Inc., and may be stored on servers in the United States. The transfer is carried out on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and/or Meta's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where applicable.
If we change this transfer policy, we will inform you accordingly, explain the applicable safeguards and, where necessary, ask for your consent.
What are your rights?
- Right to withdraw consent. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge.
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Romania, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing).
- Right to seek judicial remedy.
- Right of access. You have the right to obtain confirmation from us as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed and, where that is the case, to access that data.
- Right to rectification. You have the right to obtain from us, without undue delay, the correction of inaccurate personal data concerning you and the completion of incomplete data.
- Right to erasure (the "right to be forgotten"), in the circumstances provided for in Article 17 of the GDPR - for example, where the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or where you withdraw your consent.
- Right to restriction of processing, in the circumstances provided for in Article 18 of the GDPR - for example, where you contest the accuracy of the data or object to its erasure.
- Right to data portability - the right to receive the data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller where the processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means.
- Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. We do not currently use such automated decision-making processes.
How to exercise your rights
To exercise your legal rights, please contact us at office@renewacad.eu and office@wpe.ro, using the subject line "consent withdrawal" (if you wish to withdraw consent) or otherwise describing your request.

- Limitations on access. In certain circumstances, legal provisions may prevent us from giving you access to some or all of your personal data. If we refuse your access request, we will inform you of the reason for the refusal.
- Unable to identify you. In some cases, we may be unable to locate your personal data based on the identifiers you provide in your request - for example, data collected through cookies if you provide only your name and email address. In such cases, if we cannot identify you as the data subject, we will be unable to comply with your request unless you provide additional information that enables us to identify you.
